# The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provision) Regulations 2026, Paragraph 38


(1) Regulation (EU) No 1024/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2012 on administrative cooperation through the Internal Market Information System and repealing Commission Decision 2008/49/EC is amended as follows.
(2) In Article 5, in the second unnumbered paragraph—
(a) after sub-paragraph (k) insert—
“(ka) ‘the Information Commission’ means the Information Commission provided for under section 114A of the Data Protection Act 2018;”;
(b) omit sub-paragraph (l).
(3) In Article 21, for “Information Commissioner” substitute “Information Commission”.
