  "text": "(1) This paragraph is about the requirement under paragraph 3(4) of Schedule 12A to the Data Protection Act 2018 for the Secretary of State to consult the chair of the Information Commission before appointing a non-executive member of the Information Commission.\n(2) The requirement may be satisfied by consultation, before this Schedule comes into force, with the person who holds the office of Information Commissioner.",
