The designated areas are the subject of the following enterprise zone schemes—the Dearne Valley Enterprise Zone No. 2 (Highgate (Fields End) Business Park, Barnsley) Scheme, the Dearne Valley Enterprise Zone No. 3 (Goldthorpe Industrial Estate, Barnsley) Scheme, and the Dearne Valley Enterprise Zone No. 6 (Wombwell Bypass (Waterside and Valley Business Parks) Barnsley) Scheme, all of which have been adopted by the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council;the Dearne Valley Enterprise Zone No. 4 (Denaby Lane Industrial Estate, Doncaster) Scheme, adopted by the Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council; andthe Dearne Valley Enterprise Zone No. 1 (Manvers East, Rotherham) Scheme and the Dearne Valley Enterprise Zone No. 5 (Cortonwood Park, Rotherham) Scheme, both adopted by the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.",
