  "text": "In this Part of this Act—\n“council” means a council constituted under section 2 of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994;\n“deer” means deer of any species, whether or not deer within the meaning of section 35A(1) of this Act, and includes farmed deer;\n“sale” includes barter, exchange, and any other transaction by which venison is disposed of for value;\n“venison” means the carcase or any edible part of the carcase of a deer.",
