# Defence Reform Act 2014, Paragraph 14


(1) The SSRO may do anything which is calculated to facilitate the carrying out of its functions or which is incidental to or conducive to the carrying out of those functions; but this is subject to sub-paragraph (2).
(2) The SSRO may not borrow money, other than temporarily by way of overdraft up to a limit approved by the Secretary of State.
