Article 5 Education Action Forum

The Forum may at any time appoint additional members as follows—

(a)

up to four persons who are elected members of Derby City Council for electoral wards which comprise part of the area served by the zone;

(b)

one person nominated by Derby City Council;

(c)

up to two persons who appear to the Forum to represent the interests of business, industry or commerce in the area served by the zone;

(d)

up to three persons who appear to represent the voluntary, community or charitable sectors in the area served by the zone;

(e)

up to three persons who are parents of children of compulsory school age attending zone schools;

(f)

up to four persons who appear to the Forum to be able to further the improvement of standards at zone schools;

(g)

one person who is a member of a trade union representing teaching staff employed at zone schools;

(h)

one person who is a member of a trade union representing non-teaching staff employed at zone schools.
