# The Derbyshire (Coroners' Districts) (Amendment) Order 2005, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 21st December 2005
Coming into force 1st February 2006
The council of the county of Derbyshire submitted to the Secretary of State a draft Order in compliance with section 4(2) of the Coroners Act 1988 and the Coroners (Orders as to Districts) Rules 1927 providing for the alteration of coroners' districts in the county of Derbyshire.
The Secretary of State has made such modifications of the draft as he thinks fit and makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(2) of the Coroners' Act 1988:
