The areas described in the Schedule to this Order are hereby specified as derelict land clearance areas for the purposes of the Local Employment Act 1972.

(2)

The Derelict Land Clearance Areas Order 1978 shall have effect subject to the amendment that the employment office areas of Aston, Birmingham, Handsworth, Small Heath and Washwood Heath shall be deleted from paragraph 2 of the Schedule thereto.
