  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order amends the Designs (Convention Countries) Order 2007 (S.I. 2007/277) under powers conferred by sections 13(1) and 37(5) of the Registered Designs Act 1949 to fulfil the international obligations of the United Kingdom as a member of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Cape Verde became a member of the WTO on 23rd July 2008. This Order declares Cape Verde to be a convention country for the purposes of all the provisions of the Registered Designs Act 1949.\nA full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on the costs of business.",
