  "text": "Consumer Protection\nEnvironmental Protection\nPublic Health\nMade 10th March 2010\nLaid before Parliament 15th March 2010\nComing into force\nfor the purpose of regulation 9 1st January 2015\nfor the purpose of remainder 6th April 2010\nThe Secretary of State is a Minister designated for the purpose of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to measures for safety as respects, among other products, detergents; provisions concerning the composition, labelling, marketing, classification or description of, among other products, detergents ; measures relating to consumer protection ; and measures relating to the environment .\nIn accordance with section 56(1) of the Finance Act 1973 , the Treasury consent to the making of these Regulations.\nThe Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 and, in respect of regulation 8(3) and (4) and Schedule 1, the powers conferred by section 56(1) of the Finance Act 1973.",
