# The Detergents Regulations 2010, Regulation 5: Authorised Officers

Extent: E+W+S

(1) The Secretary of State or an enforcement authority may appoint a person as an authorised officer for the purposes of these Regulations.
(2) A person appointed by an enforcement authority is an authorised officer within the area specified for that enforcement authority in regulation 4.
