  "text": "(1) This Order may be cited as the Devon and Cornwall (Police Area and Authority) Order 1997.\n(2) In this Order—\n“1996 Act” means the Police Act 1996;\n“transferred areas” means the City of Plymouth and Borough of Torbay.\n(3) This Order, except article 3, shall come into force on 1st October 1997 and article 3 shall come into force on 1st April 1998.",
