Article 5 Statutory definitions of areas

For the purposes of regulation 40 (Statutory definitions of areas) of the Local Government Area Changes Regulations 1976, any reference to the area of the former county borough of Exeter shall be construed as including the areas transferred to the City of Exeter by article 3 and the Schedule, and excluding the areas transferred from the City of Exeter by that article and Schedule.
