The day appointed for the coming into force of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 Code of Practice on the Rights of Access to Goods, Facilities, Services and Premises (ISBN 0–11–271055–7), issued by the Secretary of State under section 51(2) of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 on 29th June 1999, is 1st October 1999.
