# The Disability Discrimination Code of Practice (Goods, Services, Facilities and Premises) Order 1996, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order appoints 2nd December 1996 as the date on which the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 Code of Practice on the Rights of Access to Goods, Facilities, Services and Premises, issued by the Secretary of State for Social Security on 25th July 1996, shall come into force. The Code may be obtained from The Stationery Office, PO Box 276, London SW8 5DT, The Stationery Office bookshops and The Stationery Office’s accredited agents.
