# The Disability Discrimination Code of Practice (Trade Organisations) Order 1999

S.I. 1999/2638 · made 17 September 1999

This Order appoints 1st October 1999 as the date on which the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 Code of Practice on the Duties of Trade Organisations to their Disabled Members and Applicants, issued by the Secretary of State on 16th July 1999, shall come into force. The Code may be obtained from The Stationery Office, PO Box 276, London SW8 5DT, The Stationery Office book shops and The Stationery Office’s accredited agents.

DISABLED PERSONS
Made 17th September 1999
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 54(6) of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, hereby makes the following Order:

## 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Disability Discrimination Code of Practice (Trade Organisations) Order 1999.

## 2 Code of Practice

The day appointed for the coming into force of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 Code of Practice on the Duties of Trade Organisations to their Disabled Members and Applicants (ISBN 0-11-271071-9), issued by the Secretary of State under section 53(1) and (2) of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 on 16th July 1999, is 1st October 1999.
