  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) (England) Regulations 2000 (S.I. 2000/682) (“the 2000 Regulations”).\nRegulation 3 has the effect of enabling disabled person’s badges issued under regulations made under section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 in Scotland and Wales to be displayed in England as if they were badges issued by a local authority in England.\nRegulation 4 corrects the date of the Social Security and Benefits Act specified in regulation 4(2)(a) of the 2000 Regulations.\nAlso relevant are the Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Exemptions for Disabled Persons) (England) Regulations 2000 (S.I. 2000/683).\nCopies of relevant Regulations can be obtained from the Stationery Office.",
