  "text": "(1) This Act may be cited as the Disabled Persons (Northern Ireland) Act 1989.\n(2) This Act shall come into force on such day as the Head of the Department may by order appoint, and different days may be appointed for different provisions or different purposes.\n(3) This Act extends to Northern Ireland only.",
