  "text": "(1) The PVG Act is amended as follows.\n(2) After section 37 insert—\n“Offences outside Scotland\n37A (1) This section applies where an offence is committed under section 34, 35 or 36 outside Scotland.\n(2) The person committing the offence may be prosecuted, tried and punished for the offence—\n(a) in a sheriff court district in which the person is apprehended or in custody, or\n(b) in a sheriff court district determined by the Lord Advocate,\nas if the offence had been committed in that district.\n(3) The offence is, for all purposes incidental to or consequential on the trial and punishment, deemed to have been committed in that district.”.\n(3) After section 45G (as inserted by section 73) insert—\n“Offences outside Scotland\n47H (1) This section applies where an offence is committed under section 45C, 45D, 45E or 45F outside Scotland.\n(2) The person committing the offence may be prosecuted, tried and punished for the offence—\n(a) in a sheriff court district in which the person is apprehended or in custody, or\n(b) in a sheriff court district determined by the Lord Advocate,\nas if the offence had been committed in that district.\n(3) The offence is, for all purposes incidental to or consequential on the trial and punishment, deemed to have been committed in that district.”.",
