# The District of Uttlesford (Electoral Changes) Order 2001, Article 7: Wards of the parish of Stansted Mountfitchet


(1) The existing wards of the parish of Stansted Mountfitchet shall be abolished.
(2) The parish shall be divided into two parish wards which shall bear the names Stansted North and Stansted South; each parish ward shall comprise the area of the district ward bearing the same name; and the number of councillors to be elected for the parish ward of Stansted North shall be seven and for the parish ward of Stansted South shall be eight.
