# The Diving at Work Regulations 1997, Paragraph 5


In the Reporting of Injuries Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995—
(a) in regulation 2(1)—
(i) for the definition of “diving contractor” there shall be substituted the following definition—
““diving contractor” has the meaning assigned to it by the Diving at Work Regulations 1997;”; and
(ii) the definition of “diving operation” shall be deleted; and
(iii) after the definition of “diving contractor” there shall be inserted the following definition—
““diving project” has the meaning assigned to it by the Diving at Work Regulations 1997”; and
(iv) in sub-paragraph (a)(vii) of the definition of “responsible person”, for the words “diving operation” there shall be substituted the words “diving project”.
(b) In paragraph 10 of Part I of Schedule 2, for the words “diving operation” there shall be substituted the words “diving project”.
