# The Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Act 2020 (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2022, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2)
The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(2) and (3) of the Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Act 2020, makes the following Regulations.
In accordance with section 6(5) of the Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Act 2020, a draft of these Regulations was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
