Regulation 2

every reference to a section by number alone means the section so numbered in the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973;

all words and phrases defined in section 25D(3) and (4) have the meanings assigned by those subsections;

every reference to a rule by number alone means the rule so numbered in the Family Proceedings Rules 1991^f1;

“active member”and “deferred member”have the meanings assigned by section 124 of the Pensions Act 1995^f2.
