  "heading": "Prescribed Conditions for Totalisators",
  "text": "(1) A totalisator on a dog racecourse shall comply with the following conditions, subject to regulation 8 (inter-track) below.\n(2) The totalisator shall not be capable of accepting any bet except through a machine (in these Regulations referred to as a “terminal”) forming part of the totalisator which complies with the requirements of regulation 4 below; and for the purpose of these Regulations a terminal forms part of the totalisator if it is capable of communicating bets to the central recording system and is designed and maintained for that purpose, whether or not it is physically connected to any other part of the totalisator.\n(3) The totalisator must comply with regulation 5 below.\n(4) The totalisator must include a system (in these Regulations referred to as “the central recording system”) for the recording of all bets made by means of terminals forming part of the totalisator, which system must comply with regulation 6.\n(5) The totalisator must include a system (in these Regulations referred to as “the public display system”) for displaying information to the public, which system must comply with regulation 7 below.",
