# The Absent Voting (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2026, Regulation 9: Additional requirements for applications for the appointment of a proxy


In regulation 7 (additional requirements for the appointment of a proxy)—
(a) at the end of paragraph (c) omit “and”,
(b) in paragraph (d) for “elector” substitute “elector, and”,
(c) after paragraph (d) insert—
“(e) in the case of an application to which regulation 11(4C) applies, state that it is being made because the circumstances in regulation 11(4D) apply.”.
