The Child Tax Credit Regulations 2002^f1 are amended as follows.

In regulation 2 (interpretation), in the definition of “placing for adoption” for “the Adoption Agencies (Scotland) Regulations 1984” substitute “the Adoption Agencies (Scotland) Regulations 2009”.

In regulation 3(1) (circumstances in which a person is or is not responsible for a child or qualifying young person) in Rule 4—

(a)

in Case A^f2, paragraph (i) for “section 26 of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995^f3” substitute “regulation 33 of the Looked After Children (Scotland) Regulations 2009^f4”; and

(b)

in Case B, paragraph (ii) for “section 26 of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995” substitute “regulation 33 of the Looked After Children (Scotland) Regulations 2009”.
