Regulation 19 Recognition of noise certificates and exemptions issued by other member States or EEA States

A noise certificate granted by the competent authority of a member State or EEA State other than the United Kingdom attesting noise certification in respect of an aeroplane registered in the territory of that State to the effect that the aeroplane complies with requirements which are at least equal to the applicable standards specified in Part II, Chapters 2, 3, 5 or 6 of Volume I of Annex 16/1981 shall be recognised as valid.

Exemptions granted by a member State or EEA State other than the United Kingdom pursuant to articles 4 or 5 of the 1989 Council Directive shall be recognised as valid.
