# The Age-Related Payments Regulations 2013, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Order laid before Parliament under section 7(4)(b) of the Age-Related Payments Act 2004, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament. This draft Statutory Instrument supersedes the draft of the same title which was laid before Parliament and published on 1 July 2013 (ISBN 978-0-11-110075). It is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that draft Statutory Instrument.

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(1)
The Treasury make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7(1), (1A), (2) and (3) of the Age-Related Payments Act 2004, now vested in them by the Transfer of Functions (Age-Related Payments) Order 2013.
In accordance with section 7(4)(b) of the Age-Related Payments Act 2004, a draft of these Regulations has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
