# The Agency Workers (Amendment) Regulations 2019, Regulation 2: Interpretation


In these Regulations—
“the 1996 Act” means the Employment Rights Act 1996;
“the 2010 Regulations” means the Agency Workers Regulations 2010; and
“contract of employment”, “agency worker” and “temporary work agency” have the meanings respectively given in regulations 2, 3 and 4 of the 2010 Regulations.
