# The Agricultural Statistics (Northern Ireland) Order 2004, Article 4: Contracting out


(1) Any function of the Department under Article 3 (other than the making of an order) may be exercised by, or by employees of, any person authorised in that behalf by the Department.
(2) Articles 13 to 16 of the Deregulation and Contracting Out (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 (NI 11) apply where a person is authorised to exercise any function of the Department by virtue of this Article as they apply where a person is authorised to exercise any function of a Northern Ireland department by virtue of Part II of that Order.
