# The Agriculture (Financial Assistance) Regulations 2021, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Regulations laid before Parliament under section 50(6) of the Agriculture Act 2020, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(8), 3(1) and (2) and 50(3) of the Agriculture Act 2020.
In accordance with section 50(6) of that Act, a draft of the instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
