# The Air Navigation (Environmental Standards For Non-EASA Aircraft) Order 2008, Paragraph 2


For microlight aeroplanes first registered in the United Kingdom or elsewhere on or after 1st April 1986 and before 5 April 2002 the maximum noise levels, when determined in accordance with the noise evaluation method specified in Section 2, must not exceed the following—
(a) single seat microlight aeroplanes – 76LAE (dB(A));
(b) two seat microlight aeroplanes – 80LAE (dB(A)).
