Schedule 3 MICROLIGHT NOISE STANDARDS

For microlight aeroplanes first registered in the United Kingdom or elsewhere before 1st April 1986 the maximum noise levels when determined in accordance with the noise evaluation method of the Appendix to this Schedule shall not exceed the following:

• Single seat microlight aeroplanes 80 L_AE (dB(A))

• Two seat microlight aeroplanes 84L_AE (dB(A))

     For microlight aeroplanes first registered in the United Kingdom or elsewhere on or after 1st April 1986 and before [ ] the maximum noise levels when determined in accordance with the noise evaluation method of the Appendix to this Schedule shall not exceed the following:

• Single seat microlight aeroplanes 76L_AE (dB(A))

• Two seat microlight aeroplanes 80L_AE (dB(A))

     For microlight aeroplanes first registered in the United Kingdom or elsewhere on or after [ ] the maximum noise levels when determined in accordance with the noise evaluation method of the Appendix to this Schedule shall not exceed 80L_AE (dB(A)).
