Article 1 (subject matter and scope) is amended as follows.

Omit paragraph 1.

In paragraph 2—

(a)

omit “Member States, European Aviation Safety Agency (the Agency),” and

(b)

omit “, at national or functional airspace block level”.

(4)

In paragraph 3—

(a)

for “In accordance with Article 1(3) of Regulation (EC) No 551/2004 and without” substitute “Without”, and

(b)

for the words from “Member States” to the end of the paragraph substitute “this Regulation applies to the airspace under the responsibility of the United Kingdom.”.

(5)

In paragraph 4 omit “by a Member State”.
