# The Al-Qaida (Asset-Freezing) Regulations 2011, Regulation 20: Savings


(1) Any licence which was granted by the Treasury under regulation 7 of the Al-Qaida and Taliban (Asset-Freezing) Regulations 2010 in respect of a designated person and which was in effect immediately before the coming into force of these Regulations shall have effect as if it were a licence granted by the Treasury under regulation 9 of these Regulations.
(2) The repeal by these Regulations of paragraph (aa) of section 63(1) of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 does not affect the continued operation of that paragraph in relation to any decision of the Treasury made before the coming into force of these Regulations.
