  "text": "(1) This paragraph applies if the Secretary of State is considering—\n(a) a variation of the licence, or\n(b) if the licence was granted for a period of less than 5 years, its renewal.\n(2) The following provisions apply in relation to the licence as proposed to be varied or renewed as they apply in relation to a project licence granted after these Regulations come fully into force—\n(a) section 5C (restrictions on grant of project licence);\n(b) section 15A(7) (methods of killing not specified in Schedule 1 to the Act);\n(c) section 17(2) (neuromuscular blocking agents).\n(3) Accordingly, on the variation or renewal of the licence paragraph 26 ceases to apply in relation to it.",
