# The Antique Firearms Regulations 2020, Introduction: Introductory text


This draft Statutory Instrument supersedes the draft of the same title which was laid before Parliament and published on 9th November 2020 (ISBN 978-0-348-21442-0). It is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that draft Statutory Instrument.
Draft Regulations laid before Parliament under section 58(2G) of the Firearms Act 1968, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(1)
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 58(2B)(b), (2C), (2D)(b) and (2F) of the Firearms Act 1968.
In accordance with section 58(2G) of that Act, a draft of these Regulations has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
