Section 118 of the 1957 Act (application of Act to civilians) is amended as follows.

In subsection (1), after “Subject to the provisions of this section” insert “and to section 45(5) of this Act,”.

In subsection (2), after “subject to the provisions of this section” insert “and to section 45(5) of this Act”.
