# The Armed Forces Pension (Consequential Provisions) Regulations 2015, Regulation 2: Interpretation


In these Regulations—
“the 1993 Act” means the Pension Schemes Act 1993;
“the 2013 Act” means the Public Service Pensions Act 2013;
“the new scheme” means the scheme established by regulation 2 of the Armed Forces Pension Regulations 2014; and
“old scheme” means an existing scheme listed in paragraphs 24 to 29 of Schedule 5 to the 2013 Act.
