Regulation 1 Citation, commencement, application and interpretation

These Regulations may be cited as the Armed Forces (Service Complaints Commissioner) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 1st January 2008.

In these Regulations—

  • “the Act” means the Armed Forces Act 2006;

  • “relevant officer” has the same meaning as in section 338 of the Act; and

  • “service complaint” has the same meaning as in section 334 of the Act.
