# The Artist’s Resale Right Regulations 2006, Regulation 17: Sales before 1st January 2010


Where a resale right is transmitted under regulation 9, or deemed to have been transmitted under regulation 16, it may not be exercised in respect of any sale where the contract date precedes 1st January 2010.
