# The Asylum (First List of Safe Countries) (Amendment) Order 2010, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Order laid before Parliament under paragraph 21(1)(b) of Schedule 3 to the Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claimants, etc.) Act 2004, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 20(1) and 21(1)(c) of Schedule 3 to the Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claimants, etc.) Act 2004;
In accordance with paragraph 21(1)(b) of Schedule 3 to that Act a draft of this Order was laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
