# The Aviation Safety (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, Regulation 314: Amendment of Subpart K of Annex 1 to Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011


(1) Subpart K (examiners) is amended as follows.
(2) In point FCL.1000—
(a) in point (b)(1)—
(i) for “Member States” substitute “United Kingdom”;
(ii) for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”;
(b) in point (c)—
(i) in the introductory phrase, for “Member States” substitute “United Kingdom”;
(ii) in point (1)—
(aa) for “Member States” substitute “United Kingdom”;
(bb) for “competent authority of the Member State” substitute “CAA”;
(cc) in point (iii), for the words from “competent authority” to “European” substitute “CAA an adequate level of knowledge of United Kingdom”;
(iii) in point (2)(i), for “Member States” substitute “United Kingdom”.
(3) In point FCL.1015—
(a) in point (a), in each place the words occur, for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”;
(b) in point (b), omit points (4) and (5);
(c) omit point (c).
(4) In point FCL.1020—
(a) in the first place the words occur, for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”;
