# The Aviation Safety (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, Regulation 370: Amendment of Annex 8 to Commission Regulation (EU) No 965/2012


(1) Annex 8 (Part-SPO) is amended as follows.
(2) In point SPO.GEN.005(c)—
(a) in point (1), for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”;
(b) in point (2), for “a Member State” substitute “the United Kingdom”.
(3) In Subpart A (general requirements)—
(a) omit point SPO.GEN.100;
(b) in point SPO.GEN.101, for “Agency” substitute “CAA”;
(c) in points SPO.GEN.107, SPO.GEN.140, SPO.GEN.145 and SPO.GEN.150, in each place the words occur, for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”.
(4) In Subpart B (operational procedures), in points SPO.OP.110 and SPO.OP.195, in each place the words occur, for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”.
(5) In Subpart D (instruments, data and equipment), in points SPO.IDE.A.105 and SPO.IDE.H.105, for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”.
(6) In Subpart E (specific requirements), in point SPO.SPEC.HESLO.110, for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”.
