# The British Nationality (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2015, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Regulations laid before Parliament under section 41(8)(b) of the British Nationality Act 1981, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 41(1)(bza), (1ZB), (1ZC), (1ZD) and (3) of the British Nationality Act 1981.
In accordance with section 41(8)(b) of that Act, a draft of these Regulations was laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
