These Regulations amend the Budget (Scotland) Act 2020 (“the Act”).

Regulation 2 amends the overall cash authorisations specified in section 4(2) of the Act in relation to the Scottish Administration.

Regulation 3(2) amends purposes 1, 4, 6, 8 and 9 for which the Scottish Ministers may use resources in financial year 2020/21.

Regulation 3(3) amends and inserts the amount of resources (other than accruing resources) that may be used for purposes 1 to 13 and 15 to 18 and the total amount of those resources for all the purposes.

Regulation 4 amends the reference to “Scottish Water Business Stream Holdings” to include any of its subsidiaries and amends the amount of resources that may be used by Scottish Water Business Stream Holdings Limited and any subsidiary of it for certain purposes in schedule 3 of the Act.
