# The Carbon Accounting Scheme (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2017, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Regulations laid before the Scottish Parliament under section 96(4) of the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009, for approval by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.

Coming into force 6th May 2017
The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 13(5), 20(1) and 96(2) of the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 96(4) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
