# The Census (England and Wales) Order 2020, Paragraph 34: Education and Employment particulars


If not working in the last 7 days as an employee, self-employed or freelance, temporarily away from work ill, on holiday or temporarily laid off, on maternity or paternity leave, or doing any other kind of paid work, whether the person has ever done any paid work in the last 12 months, more than 12 months ago or has never worked.
