# The Charities Act 2006 (Changes in Exempt Charities) Order 2009, Paragraph 12: Ongoing charity proceedings relating to a formerly exempt charity


(1) Any charity proceedings —
(a) relating to a formerly exempt charity; and
(b) taken before the appointed day,
continue on or after that day as if they had been authorised by the Charity Commission.
(2) In this paragraph “charity proceedings” has the meaning given by section 33(8) of the 1993 Act.
