# The Charities Act 2011 (Exempt Charities) (British Council) Regulations 2021, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and extent


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Charities Act 2011 (Exempt Charities) (British Council) Regulations 2021.
(2) These Regulations come into force 7 days after the day on which they are made.
(3) Regulations 2, 3 and 5 and the Schedule extend to England and Wales.
(4) Regulation 4 and this regulation extend to the whole of the United Kingdom.
